Dr. Donovan Beckett CEO & Medical Director
Dr. Donovan "Dino" Beckett, born and raised in Williamson, West Virginia, has practiced family medicine for over 14 years in southern West Virginia. Dr. Beckett graduated from West Virginia University and West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, having served as Student Government President while attending both institutions. He completed his Osteopathic Internship and Family Practice Residency at West Virginia University – Charleston Area Medical Center. Dr. Beckett returned to Williamson in 2003, established his Family Practice and immediately began applying his holistic approach to community development. As Chairman of the Williamson Redevelopment Authority he helped to launch Williamson Health & Wellness Center, Inc., a non-profit that functions as a Federally Qualified Health Center and the parent organization to the Mingo County Diabetes Coalition, the Williamson Farmer's Market, and Sustainable Williamson. Through his leadership both as public servant and as an entrepreneur, Dr. Beckett has guided and personally invested in the rejuvenation of Williamson’s city center. In addition to being an avid Mountaineer supporter and swimming and spending time with his family, Dr. Beckett enjoys helping to diversify the Mingo County and Tug Valley economy by mentoring local entrepreneurs with business development ideas and outreach strategies. ​“Dr. Beckett is looking at the future of families in Williamson. Dr. Leo Pajarillo Pediatrician
Dr. Leo P. Pajarillo brings over 47 years of experience in Pediatrics to our staff. Dr. Pajarillo graduated from the CEBU Institute of Medicine, in Cebu City, Philippines in 1968. He completed an internship at Christ Hospital, Jersey City, New Jersey in 1974 and completed his residency in Pediatrics at State University Hospital of New York, Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1976. Dr. Pajarillo served in active duty with the United States Air Force rank of Major, as the Staff Pediatrician and rotated in the Emergency Department at USAF Hospital Griffiss (SAC), Griffiss Air Force Base, New York. He holds high recommendation to our medical staff from his Air Force Commander for his performance during his years of service. Dr. Pajarillo has been a member of the Medical Staff of Williamson Memorial Hospital since 1981, during which time he served as Chief of Pediatrics, and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Preeti Sahasi Dentist
Dr. Preeti Sahasi Sharma graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2003 with the award for the best all-around dental student. She has worked extensively in public health as an advocate for underserved dental patients for the past 10 years. Dr. Sahasi previously served as Vice President of the Luzerne County Dental Society and earned the Community Involvement Award from Northeast Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center. She finds her present work challenging and immensely satisfying, knowing that she provides comprehensive oral healthcare care to a diverse group of underserved patients. Her mission is to revitalize her patients' lives and rejuvenate their smiles in an environment conducive to promoting opportunities for excellence and creating sustainable relationships. She resides in Pikeville, Kentucky with her husband and two children.
Jerome Cline Nurse Practitioner
Jerome Cline is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Born and raised in Gilbert, West Virginia, Nurse Practitioner Cline joins Williamson Health & Wellness Center after a career in the United States Air Force and a long history of working in the coal industry as an accountant, trucking company owner, and diesel mechanic. As a displaced coal industry worker, he took advantage of free Workforce Investment Act retraining and setoff in his new career which began as a Licensed Practical Nurse. He worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Unit at Thomas Memorial Hospital and Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units at Williamson Memorial Hospital. Jerome completed both his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science Degrees at West Virginia University, with clinical training at Williamson Family Care Center and the Mingo County Diabetes Coalition. When asked to comment about Jerome’s new career, Dr. “Dino” Beckett, CEO/Medical Director complimentarily expressed, “Jerome’s successful employment transition is a living-proof example of the resourcefulness and desire of our region’s workforce to earn a sustainable wage and provide for their families. For those who call the coal fields home, there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
Vicki Hatfield Nurse Practitioner
Vicki Hatfield has been a nurse since 1975. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Marshall University and Master’s Degree in Nursing from WV University. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Williamson Family Care Center and is the manager of the Williamson Memorial Hospital Diabetes Management Clinic. She serves as the Principal Investigator for the Southeastern Diabetes Initiative. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management.
