Dr. Christopher Beckett
A graduate of West Virginia University and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Williamson Health & Wellness Center CEO Dr. C. Donovan “Dino” Beckett is one of America’s most respected rural health practitioners.
Before launching Williamson Health & Wellness Center, Beckett opened his own practice, served as chief of staff and chief of medicine at Williamson Memorial Hospital and worked as a physician at Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He served his residencies in family practice and in an osteopathic rotating internship at Charleston Area Medical Center. Beckett won leadership awards and served as student government president at both WVU and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following his graduation from WVU with a degree in biology, Beckett served a Latin American internship with the University of Miami, where he witnessed the work of rural doctors, planting the seed for his eventual interest in returning to his native Williamson and his emergence as a leading voice in rural health.
Among Beckett’s many accolades, he was named the National Rural Health Association’s Rural Health Practitioner of the Year in 2017, the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni of the Year in 2018, a member of West Virginia Executive Magazine’s inaugural Health Care Hall of Fame in 2020 and a West Virginia Rural Health Leader by the Center for Rural Health in 2022.

Dr. Abbas enjoys traveling, playing golf and dining out in his free time. His favorite quote is by Leo Tolstoy, the Russian writer who is regarded as one of the greatest authors of all time; “The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity.”
Durand Warren, MBA, LPC
Durand Warren is the Chief Strategic Officer of Williamson Health and Wellness Center, where he architects bold strategies that blend integrated healthcare, behavioral medicine, and workforce development to rebuild communities from the inside out. His leadership is not theory, it’s lived experience. Going from prison yards to boardrooms, Warren has turned adversity into authority, showing that redemption and resilience can drive innovation at the highest levels of leadership.
As CSO, he has spent over a decade building programs that disrupt cycles of addiction, incarceration, and poverty across Appalachia. From designing crisis stabilization units to expanding in-patient and outpatient treatment, and creating integrated care models, Durand has shaped a continuum of services that doesn’t just treat symptoms but transforms lives. His expertise and impact led to his appointment by West Virginia’s Governor to the Board of Examiners in Counseling, where he continues to advocate for justice-impacted populations.
Durand holds dual master’s degrees in Counseling and Business Administration and is pursuing his Doctorate in Executive Leadership. But beyond the degrees and titles, his true power lies in his ability to connect. Whether mentoring executives, inspiring second-chance leaders, or speaking to thousands from the stage, his journey is proof that leadership forged in fire can light the way for others.
At home, Durand is a husband, father of seven, and a man who believes legacy is measured not just in the positions we hold, but in the lives we redeem and the hope we leave behind.
